Family Steam & Fun Day

A day out for all the family. Abbey Pumping Station is hosting a number of stalls and exhibits, something of interest for all the family. The Forget-Me-Not model railway will be operating – come and have a look at the steam models, smash some crockery, wander through the stalls and the larger exhibits. Don’t forget to have a look at the magnificent Gimson Beam Engines.

The Narrow Gauge Railway will be running, with Leonard the Steam Loco at work. Entrance to the museum is free. Train rides are £1.00 per person, under 3 yrs travel for free. Get your ticket at the station, pay with cash or pay by card. A Family ticket is available for £3.00, for 2 adults + 2 children.
