Re-opening of the Abbey Pumping Station Museum

All events for 2020 were cancelled due to the Corona virus. The museum is however opening to the public once again on Thursday 27th August 2020. For the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers there is a need to manage the number of visitors within the museum. It is therefore essential that you book your timed tickets in advance of your visit to enable us to maintain safety at the pumper. Tickets are free and can be booked from here on the City Museums web site.

The Museum is open from 12.00 noon until 4.30pm Thursday to Sunday until the end of October 2020. We are closed from 1st November 2020 to beginning of February 2021 except for special event days when opening times may vary. Currently there are no events scheduled for 2020, but do keep an eye on our events page for any special events and their opening times.

Before your visit please view the Covid-19 museums website notice and FAQ.
